La Crosse Technology WT-3122J Radio-Controlled Analog Wall Clock, Wood

Are you interested in the Lastest model of La Crosse Technology WT-3122J Radio-Controlled Analog Wall Clock, Wood? I make this product appeal to young people

Great in appearance and function.5
This is one of the first atomic wall clocks I purchased and it not only looks great but it works well, too! It's quiet and its large numbers offer easy visibility from across the room. Battery lasted over 3 years and it automatically adjusts to daylight savings time. La Cross Technology is very reliable - in fact, I own 3 other La Crosse Technology wall atomic clocks and I will come back again to replace once my old wall clocks stop working.

Non- functional right out of the box!1
The idea of a self setting clock is great, the quality of the movement is junk. The clock did not work right out of the box. Followed the instructions about setting up the clock and inserted batteries. The new clock would not set, it just keept running the minute hand at warp speed around the dial. Let it run that way for 72 hours, no change. Returned it to the seller for a full refund (minus the shipping charges both ways.) Had to call the seller twice, first time to get a RMA and a second time to get refund. Seller was very nice, helpful and all that. Let is slip that they get a lot of returns!La Crosse Technology WT-3122J Radio-Controlled Analog Wall Clock, Wood

My treasured pet clocks4
I have two of these clocks and am very happy with them. They require no care but for annual battery changes, if that often, and keep accurate time. There are some things to be aware of, however. Too much moisture seems to gum up the works--I had to move the one I hung in the bathroom; it wasn't happy. On two occasions over the three years I've owned the clocks, one of them has gone four hours off, and stubbornly and repeatedly returned to its chosen time overnight after I'd changed it. Then after a week, just as mysteriously, it corrected itself. The other clock only had one such tantrum, but self-corrected the following day. I have other automatic clocks and they all have their quirks--like loyal but headstrong pets.

I have one (a different brand) that periodically beeps at 2am ET (midnight Mountain Time where the tower is), like it's talking to the mother ship even though it regularly resyncs silently during the day. Sometimes this happens once a month, sometimes not for several months. Another has had a couple of episodes of displaying a date two days in the future, but self corrects in a day or two. I've actually grown rather fond of their independent spirits, since they always fix themselves and reflect perfect time but for these isolated occurrences.

These clocks cannot sync up with Colorado when in certain buildings such as office buildings that have lots of communication equipment on the roof, and maybe for other reasons as well, but they work well in the standard house. I am very pleased with my clocks and tolerant of the technology's rare glitches because the benefits outweigh them.
